Arcelor Mittal Liberia inducts new graduates into its professional training program

Arcelor Mittal Liberia has inducted 19 young Liberians into its workforce as part of a special professional development program.

The 19 highly motivated university graduates were inducted into the company’s young professionals Program after month of rigorous vetting.

Speaking at the formal induction in Monrovia Thursday, ArcelorMittal’s head of Organizational Development and Human Resources Rose Kingston 19 young Liberian have proven to be one some of the best and most talented people in Liberia.

She said the process of selecting the 19 talents was firmly merit base with the focus to learn and gain firsthand working experience with the goal of absorbing them.

In the next 10 months, the young professionals will join various department in ArcelorMittal and experience structured career development, mentorship and training to prepare with the professional skills and experience needed to be job ready.

Responding on behalf of the 19 inductee induction, Louise Mabudu said it was a huge win to be successful among 256 applicants.

She thanked ArtcelorMittal for the opportunity and said young professional are hungry for knowledge and expect to be given every support on the job.

The gesture is part of AML’s cooperate Social responsibility in  order and intended to train more Liberian professionals  making  them self-sufficient and independent.
