‘Embassy Tree’ Donates to Less Fortunate Family in Ganta

Both parents of the five children are dead and their aunt now takes care of them

Embassy Tree has identified with a family believed to be less fortunate in Ganta City, Nimba County.

The five children according to report have been asking the public for help after their both parents passed.

According to the children, their mother died in 2021 as a result of car accident.

“Our Ma (mother) died last year, she was involved into car accident. Our Pa (father) too not living” one of the children narrated.

According to their aunty Winifred Dolo who is taking care of them, the older one usually fixed blocks to have it sold before finding food to eat.

“The older one you see over there, usually fixed blocks for us to sell it before we can find food to eat, I sometimes go around to sell raw fish for me to find their living”, the aunty narrated.

Several members of the ‘Embassy Tree’ were emotional after listening to the sorrowful testimonies from the family.

As a result of their testimonies, Embassy Tree Liberia presented one thousand United States Dollars (1,000 USD) as a means of coming to the many cried from the family.

Making the presentation on behalf of the organization, Atty. Lawrence Sua a member of the group said it was the organization own way of coming to the aid of the family.

“We heard your many cries, we are all sadden by this information, please take this one thousand United States Dollars and start taking care of the children, we don’t want to see you going out begging people for anything again”, Atty. Sua said when presenting the money to the family.

Meanwhile, receiving the money on behalf of the children, their aunty Winifred Dolo thanked the family of Embassy Tree for the donation.

“I want to tell your thank you so much for what you people did, it took me by  surprise, I pray the place your to it from let more add there”, Winifred said 

Embassy Tree is a social group funded by a group of young professionals in April 2020 as a result of the Coronavirus (COVID-19).

The organization has been making several donations especially in Montserrado County.

Embassy Tree made the donation on May 28, 2022 at the residence of the family in LPRC Community in Ganta City Nimba.
