Mr. Allen Abeardargue Thomas Jr was born in Tappita City Lower Nimba County Liberia West Africa on November 7, 1990 and started his Primary Education at the age of seven (7) in 1997 at the St. Francis Catholic High School in Tappita Nimba County thereafter he fast forward enrolled at Christian High School also located in Tappita City Nimba County Liberia West Africa from K-I to 8th grade.
In 2003 another civil war which took the lives of many and destroyed almost everything started which Tappita was highly affected by the MODEL Rebel Group from Grand Gedeh County and he including his family fled for safety. At this point there was no school and all that was happening was to pray for the next day if you will be alive.
Upon their returned, he completed 8th grade at Christian High School and then later enrolled at the Tappeh United Methodist High School before eventually returning again to Christian High School where he stayed up to his graduation in 2008 as was the Valedictorian.
After his graduation, he taught at the Raneh Christian School in Tappita for two (2) years before enrolling at the ABC University in Yekepa in 2010. While at the school he served as Administrative Assistant to the then President of the Institution, Dr. Delbert Chinchen.
In May 2014, he graduated and again as Valedictorian earning a Bachelor Degree in Education.
He immediately returned to Tappita and started his professional teaching career. He has taught at the St. Francis Catholic High School in Tappita where he started his primary education, served as Sports Director for the Tappeh Memorial High School and currently he is the Principal of Christian High School in Tappita, Master of Ceremony for the Tappeh Baptist Church, Instructor at the Tappeh Memorial High School and a Board Member of the Jackson F. Doe Regional Referral Hospital in Tappita.
He is married to Mrs. Lydia Thomas with two (2) beautiful daughters Daybah and Sennenway.
Our Personality of the Week is The Best Teacher of Nimba an Award he won recently on August 24, 2022 in Monrovia with a cash prize of LRD$300,000 (Three hundred thousand Liberian Dollars).
