Bahn City, Liberia:- In a devastating event on August 27, 2024, a fallen tree in Bahn City, Nimba County, resulted in the death of Oses Barleah, a recent graduate of Cuttington University. Barleah was on his farm along the Miaplay Highway when a severe storm uprooted a tree, causing it to fall on him and his companion, Diagbay Diah. While Barleah tragically lost his life, Diah suffered multiple injuries and was rushed to a local clinic for treatment. This incident adds to the recent mourning in Nimba County Electoral District Seven, which is still grieving the loss of two citizens who drowned in the Yar River on August 24, 2024.
