Buchanan, Grand Bassa, Liberia: As part of its annual commemoration of World Safety Day, ArcelorMittal Liberia held simultaneous celebrations at its operational offices in Yekepa, Nimba County, and Buchanan, Grand Bassa County.

The global observance, themed:

 “I Believe in Zero,”

focuses on the vision of zero harm in workplaces and communities.

During the Buchanan ceremony, a standout moment was the recognition of Ashley Warner, who currently serves as Superintendent–Executive Mainline Rail Operations. Warner’s journey with ArcelorMittal Liberia is one of dedication and upward growth. Having started his career with the company as a driver, he has steadily risen through the ranks due to his commitment to excellence and safety.

In his words, Warner expressed deep appreciation through his Facebook handle:

“Happy World Safety Day.

‘I Believe In Zero.’

Due to my hard work and safety compliance, I was awarded on this day.

My thanks and appreciation to the ArcelorMittal Liberia Safety Department for such an honour.”
