In 2011, he was named “Employee of the Year” and promoted to Mine Infrastructure Superintendent. By 2014, he had advanced to Assistant Mine Manager and, on several occasions, stepped in as Acting Mine Manager, successfully meeting the company’s production targets. Recognized as a “High Potential” employee, Selmah was awarded a fully funded international scholarship by AML to pursue mining engineering studies at the University of Mines and Technology in Ghana.
