Zahn Bowyee, Nimba County Liberia: – On Saturday, November 12, 2022, the Friends of Roosevelt S. Dahn (FORD) visited and sympathized with the citizens of Zahn Bowyee in District #8 Nimba County where 8 persons drowned in the Yar River due to the canoe that capsized few weeks back. During the visitation, they made a cash donation in the amount of LRD$20,000.
The bereaved families were given LRD$$15,000 while LRD$$4,000 went towards the mini ferry project undertaken by the citizens of Zahn Bowyee as way of minimizing the risk factor of by drowning. FORD also gave the elders LRD$$1,000 as way of tradition.
Roosevelt S. Dahn is one of Nimba County Electoral District Eight Aspirants wanting to unseat Representative Larry P. Younquoi who is running for third time in Nimba Electoral District Eight comes 2023.
