Zwedru, Grand Gedeh County – August 30, 2024 – The 7th Judicial Circuit Court in Zwedru became the focal point of intense public scrutiny as residents gathered to demand justice for a four-year-old girl who 24-year-old Alpha Jalloh, a Fullah man, allegedly raped. The incident reportedly occurred on August 22, 2024.

Under the banner of Concern Grand Gedeans, a group led by former District #1 Representative candidate Hon. Sampson Bossoe Williams—known as The Fearless General—has been vocal in its calls for justice. Williams has accused County Attorney E. Wilkins Nah of attempting to compromise the case due to the involvement of a Fullah governor.

The victim’s mother, Madam Viola Dayee, has expressed frustration over the lack of progress and warned that she might resort to radical measures to draw national attention if justice is not served. She also criticized several officials, including Mr. Samuel Paye, the commander of the Women and Children section of the Liberia National Police, Mr. Wallace Barway, the Gender Coordinator, and County Attorney E. Wilkins Nah, for their perceived mishandling of the case.

In response to the allegations, Williams has demanded the removal of the county attorney, giving the government a 15-day ultimatum to address the issue. He emphasized the need for a fair adjudication process to ensure justice for the victim.
