Liberia: – In a momentous stride for the community and the country, Pharmacist Joseph S. Quoi has earned a Fellowship in Mental and Behavioral Health from the College of Public Health at the West African Postgraduate College of Pharmacists (WAPCP) a distinction reserved for the finest in the field after five years of study.

Hailed as โ€œOur Lone Soldier,โ€ Quoiโ€™s remarkable journey serves as a beacon of hope and perseverance. Born and raised in Nyokiayee, a small yet strategically located and culturally rich town in the Mehnsonnoh Administrative District, Yarwin Mehnsonnoh Statutory District, Nimba County Electoral District Nine, he began his academic path in the humble classrooms of Nyokiayee Public School.

Today, through unwavering determination and a heart for service, he stands as a national asset serving in the Mental Health Department at the Ministry of Health, Republic of Liberia.

His journey transcends academics; it is deeply humanitarian. As the Lead Consultant for the Help Minimize Epilepsy in Liberia Campaign, Quoi has championed the strengthening of the mental health system, capacity building, awareness, and community resilience through inclusive programs and grassroots outreach.

In a powerful testament to his commitment to his roots, Quoi and a group of devoted citizens have taken on the full responsibility of compensating volunteer teachers at Nyokiayee Public School. This selfless act has significantly boosted school enrollment, reviving hope for the communityโ€™s future. He has also initiated similar efforts in his grandmother’s hometown, Zahngoula, District 8, where he is single-handedly paying for two volunteer teachers. Congratulations, Pharmacist Joseph S. Quoi. Your story is not just one of personal triumph but a symbol of whatโ€™s possible when passion meets purpose.
