Tappita, Nimba Liberia: – A son of Tappita Statutory District Chris Saylee through his Educational Foundation has donated several assorted materials to the district inclusive but not limited to 25-pieces of Liberian Flags, 30-boxes of chalks for teaching, 3-reams of paper sheet and 2-pieces of Nimba County Flags as his foundation way of identifying with the people of Tappita by enhancing the developmental agenda of the District.
Institutions that benefited from his foundation donations are, Tappita Statutory District Office, Tappita Police Station, Tappita District Education Office, The City Mayor’s Offices including some Public, Private Secondary Schools.
Receiving the donations from his foundation team in Liberia, Tappita Statutory District Development Superintendent Josephus M. Paye appreciated the team and equally called on other Foundations and citizens to do likewise.
“We are today pleased for and on behalf of Hon. Lonbayee M. Barlea, and the great people of Tappita to have received these items which will boost our work. I am extending our thanks and appreciation to Chris Saylee and his Foundation for this worthy and very timely gesture. Together let’s continue to look back in serving our communities”.
“As challenges grew each day mainly for rural communities’ dwellers, a teacher while in conversation with Radio Voice of Tappita pleaded for educational materials like chalks as way of helping them serve the community schools. This was something that activated our foundation in stepping in to bring relief in that sector Chris Saylee added”.
As you may all be aware, Community Development is important because it provides the foundation a community builds on as way of helping to improve the lives of its citizens. It creates strong, diverse communities that are able to attract and keep talents, start and grow businesses, and overcome issues that arises.
