The Communication team told this paper that Lighting Up the Festivities in Buchanan, the festive season kicked off on Monday in Buchanan with a delightful grandchildren’s party and the ceremonial lighting of the Christmas Tree. The glow of the tree symbolized hope and joy, setting the tone for the celebrations ahead. Alongside these festivities, our team extended charitable donations to several orphanages, old folks’ homes, public institutions, and communities in Montserrado, Bong, Nimba, and Grand Bassa Counties.
These acts of kindness brought smiles and comfort to those in need, embodying the true spirit of Christmas. Spreading Joy in Yekepa Tuesday was a day of merriment in Yekepa as our CEO, Michiel Van Der Merwe, and COO, Anthony Kocken, joined other staff members to distribute Christmas gifts to children in Camp 4. The highlight of the day was the lighting of the Yekepa concession Christmas Tree, which illuminated the area with festive cheer. The celebrations continued on Saturday, December 28, with a grand Christmas party at the Yekepa playground. Children participated in various fun games and activities, their laughter and joy echoing the spirit of the season. Recognition and Year-End Celebration in Monrovia The festive vibes extended to our Monrovia Office on Friday, where staff gathered for a year-end get-together. The event was an opportunity to celebrate achievements and recognize outstanding contributions. Christopher Williams was honored as ‘Employee of the Year’ for his exceptional dedication and commitment throughout 2024.
