Since joining AML in 2016 and earning a promotion to Mine Supervisor in 2017, he has steadily advanced, demonstrating a commitment to excellence and growth. Solo has not only gained extensive industry experience but has also pursued higher education through foreign scholarship from ArcelorMittal Liberia where he earned a master’s degree in Health and Safety—an essential qualification that ensures AML’s mining operations adhere to the highest safety standards. Oscar Quee’s journey is a remarkable example of perseverance and professional growth. He joined AML in 2014, initially applying for a role as a Compactor Operator, drawing from his background as a trained heavy machinery operator. Through hard work and dedication, his career has soared, leading to his promotion as a Senior Mining Supervisor and now serving as an Acting Mining Superintendent. Cyrus has also benefitted from extensive international training, including specialized programs in Brazil in 2018, and continues to enhance his expertise by working closely with top maintenance engineering specialists engaged by AML for high-level projects.
